Trans Woman Needs Help with Housing

Hi! My name is Jody and I'm a 25-year-old transgender woman. Within the last year, I quit my job because of harassment and bullying from management. More recently, I was offered a job to run a company's social media. Upon realizing I was transgender, the management at that company began misgendering me and being cold, so I had to walk away from that role.

As of now I am unemployed, broke, and unable to afford rent. I withdrew my entire retirement fund to afford rent for June and July. The prospect of homelessness is starting to seem more real for me by the day and it is causing significant stress. I am continuing my job search and as soon as I'm employed I will remove this fundraising page. In the meantime, any amount of money would help. I just want some security in my life.

The money from this fundraiser will go towards:

-Rent: $900/month

-Utilities: ~$80/month

-Food: ~$300/month

-Money towards other basic needs and security
