A New Chair for Genna

Our lovely friend Genna was in a car accident some years ago and has been rocking and rolling in a wheelchair ever since.  During the String Cheese Incident's New Year's run in Colorado, some dark soul stole her wheelchair outside of a gas station.  Police reports were filed and insurance claims made, but the chair was not recovered and the insurance companies are doing their level best to deny the claim. 

Genna is currently using a loaner chair that is severely limiting her independence, as she cannot move it around or drive without help, as she could with her custom chair.  The reduced mobility has been difficult as Genna is finishing her degree and needs to be able to get to and from her classes.  This has also caused a certain amount of emotional distress, as it is difficult to have one's independence taken in such a cruel and unthinking way.

Genna and Brian have incurred a lot of expenses due to the loss of her chair and are doing everything they can to get a new, functional, custom chair for Genna. 
I thought it makes perfect sense to reach out to our wonderful community of friends for help.  In this case, a little money is going to go a long way to improve Genna's quality of life, ability to get around, and faith in humanity.  Every little bit helps.  Thank you for reading, for contributing, and for spreading love!

A bit about me: My name is Sachi, and I've been good friends with Genna since we met during SCI's NYE show a few years back.  I had the time and the inclination to put together this fundraiser for Genna.  Please help me make our goal of getting a new, awesome, rocking chair for Genna so she can get back to school and back out on the dance floor with us!!!
