Help Milo fight cancer
Spende geschützt
Hi! My name is Bri and I’m creating this page on behalf of my sister Lindsey, and her family Theron and Milo. If you know or have known Lindsey at any point in her life, then there’s a good chance you also know that her dream has always been to have a corgi someday. Growing up, whenever we talked about what kind of pets we’d have as adults, mine would change from time to time, but Lindsey was always adamant that she’d have a corgi. One day in the middle of the Covid pandemic, Lindsey and her husband Theron drove down to Arkansas to pick up their boy Milo! They didn’t tell anyone what they were doing, but I remember getting a random FaceTime call from Lindsey, and as soon as I answered, I saw her face and knew, so I asked, “You guys just got a corgi puppy, didn’t you?”
That was almost 3 years ago now, and Milo has been the light of Lindsey and Theron’s life ever since. Milo is truly Lindsey’s soul dog, and they’ve been bonded since the minute she and Theron picked him up for the first time. Unfortunately, last week Lindsey and Theron received confirmation of the news no pet parent ever wants to hear. Milo has been diagnosed with cancer. Lindsey, Theron, and Milo all live with my husband and me and our 3 dogs. They’ve been saving up to buy a house of their own, but those plans have been put on hold now that they need to pay for Milo’s treatment. He’s the sweetest and happiest corgi I’ve ever met, and you’d never be able to tell he has cancer based on his attitude, so Lindsey and Theron are committed to doing whatever it takes to give him the best chance at a normal corgi life expectancy.
Cancer treatment is extremely expensive, especially for pets. They’ve already paid over $4,000 in the past 3 weeks for a tumor removal and additional tests with the oncology specialist. They’re going to need to pull another $13,000-$15,000 together for another tissue removal surgery, and then 15 days of localized radiation (under anesthesia). The localized radiation has a 95% chance of curing the site of Milo’s cancer, so his odds at remission are good! Any amount you can donate to Milo’s treatment is appreciated more than you know! I’ll be posting updates as we receive them so you can follow along on Milo’s journey to remission!
Thank you so much in advance :)
