Hello friends. My name is Brianna; I work full-time and have the sweetest little dog. I love him more than words can describe, and my poor little guy is experiencing some medical issues that we've been struggling with. He's only seven years old and has severe heart problems, quickly depleting my finances. I want to continue getting him the best care available, but in 2 weeks, we've already spent roughly $5,000.00 in medical expenses, and many more appointments and medications are ahead. We need help if we're going to be able to continue his care.

Smudge has been diagnosed with stage C Myxomatous Valve Degeneration (MMVD), a common degenerative disease process in dogs. With MMVD, the valve leaflets thicken to the point where the leaflets no longer meet up adequately, resulting in a leak in the valve(s). We are seeing many more doctor visits ahead. The options we were given were a $35,000 surgery in London or Japan, an experimental procedure in Denver, or treatment, as best we can, with medication. With that, he was given only six months to a year left unless we could try one of the other two options.

Option one feels like a pipedream, but without help, I'm afraid we may not even be able to afford his cheapest option or medication. I want to give him the best life I can for as long as he's here, but that may not be possible without your help.
