Race to Alaska - Team BAF

Hi, we're Leigh & Dameon and we're raising money to allow us to compete in the 2019 Race to Alaska .
A long, challenging row has been a dream of ours for many years, and this year we are making the dream a reality in the form of the R2AK. Most teams sail it, but we are rowing all 750 miles. Most teams are from the West Coast, where the race takes place, but we're traveling there from Maine.
We're looking for help to cover the costs of travel, entry fee, and supplies for the journey. Any funds we raise in excess of our $5,000 goal will be donated to ComeBoating! , a small non-profit here on Belfast that is incredibly good at accomplishing its stated goal: getting people of all walks of life out on the water in human- & wind-powered boats. A goal not unlike that of the R2AK.
