‘The Bench’ a short film

Our world is beautiful, and messy. As this world becomes increasingly polarized to the extremes of political landscape, this film seeks to send a simple, but powerful message: one that calls on our humanity as the most important part of our selves. One that encapsulates the vision of Imam Hussain, the famous leader and warrior who stood against unimaginable tyranny: to fight for the oppressed, no matter who they are and what the cost.

The powerful words from Imam Hussain are still very much needed to be reiterated in today’s polarized and unjust society. Imam Hussain's messages are universal and timeless.

This film aims to spread his message and combat all forms of oppression.
