Izzy's Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Melissa and I am fundraising for a very special little girl in our world. Isabelle (Izzy) Renaud.

About 4 months ago it was discovered Izzy had a slight curve in her spine, and after multiple doctors visits and tests it was diagnosed that Izzy has something we are familiar with call Scholiosis (a sideways curvivture of her spine). While the diagnosis was recieved with understanding, the doctor explained to Izzy's Mom (Katlyn) that, this was not the only thing.

This week Izzy had an MRI to investigate some of the doctors suspicions of a tumor, 2 days after the MRI the surgeon called Izzy's Mom (Katlyn) to report any parents worst nightmare. There is what the doctor has described a large tumor on Izzy's spine, near her brain which can cause paralysis for our young 8 year old.

The doctor informed Katlyn they will be recieveing a call from Cheo within the next 2 days with a plan to take off for surgery. Of course this is not optional, however, neither is putting life commitments on hold (bills, hotel costs, gas, groceries). I am reaching out in hope to alleviate the stress for the Renaud family while they spend the next who knows how long out of home on Izzys road to recovery. Izzys surgery time in cheo with very little information (so far) is approx 6-8 weeks--just in time for Christmas . Izzy her Mom and Dad will be leaving behind 2 older brothers to continue life.
