Congo Empowerment Initiative
Donation protected
After living two years in the Democratic Republic of Congo Africa among the poorest of the poor, I fell in love with the most resilient children. Children who are deaf; girls who often go unnoticed, and young boys brimming with talent. They compose what I refer to as my Congo Empowerment Initiative (CEI). This initiative will impact 40 deaf children, a Girl's School for 60 disadvantaged girls and my Karawa Basketball Team (KBT) made up of over 80 village kids.
This CEI Project will fund one nutritious meal a day for 40 deaf students and teachers for one year; tuition for 60 girls for one year; uniforms, balls and shoes for 80 players on the basketball team.
The requested $7500 will cover travel expenses, tuition, meals and supplies. Given the importance of this initiative, I will personally visit to see that these goals are met 100%. Please make your donation today. I will travel to DR Congo as the rainy season comes to and end in late October 2015. They need your help and your prayers but they deserve so much more!
