The Lewis Family
Donation protected
Chad Lewis is a husband and a father of 3, a hard worker who always provided for his family as well as taking good care of his employees, a good son and brother, a great friend to many, a coach for children’s sports and just the type of guy who would help anyone in anyway he could. A real shirt off his back type of guy.
On November 26th, Chad was cooking dinner for his family when he went into sudden cardiac arrest. He was rescued by his wife Holly and paramedics, he was placed in multiple induced comas, but he is now awake and improving slowly. He had a heart cath on December 3rd to look for blockage but it was clear. He does have an irregular heartbeat but at this point we may never know what sent a 33 year old healthy man that doesn’t do drugs or anything in to full cardiac arrest. They put in a defibrillator to prevent this from ever happening again on December 5th. He has made miraculous progress despite all odds and while we pray for continued progress in his recovery, the road will be long. He cannot drive or work for atleast 3 months. He goes back to the doctors March 26th to see if the doctor will clear him then or not. However he still has to find out if he can even return to his job of 16 years and work around the equipment with his defibrillator!
Any donations will help alleviate additional burdens on his family at this time and would be greatly appreciated.
