Father's Medical Expenses

A few weeks ago, my father Gary, woke up and noticed a loss of vision in his one eye.   A few days later an eye doctor had determined that he had suffered a stroke behind his eye.   Not only did he discover the stroke, but also found that he has major blockages of both of carotid arteries and possible blockages in his brain area as well.    After seeing a vascular surgeon and neurolgist, my dad was scheduled to have surgery on the 27th of this month.   During the pre-op tests, his EKG came back abnormal which led to more test.  It was determined that he also has a blockage on the left side of his heart.   He is scheduled for a catherization on the 24th.   My parents have been staying with me during the testing and will be here for the surgeries as well.   They live 2 hours from me which mean my mom can not work during this time period.  

Being in her 70's as well, and having recently lost both breasts to cancer, she is a caregiver of an older woman that is 102 years old.   My parents only get a minimal amount of income from social security, which isn't really enough to make ends meet and now that my mother is unable to earn supplimental income, they are facing an uphill financial battle.    They have not gotten any bills yet from the multiple test, but I know that they are both worried.     I am starting this campaign to raise anything I can to offset their expenses and help out.   Any amount would be greatly appreciated and would help.   God Bless
