Honoring K9 Chase
Donation protected
Our beloved K9 Officer Chase has been missing for a full year now. We’ve set up this GoFundMe account to purchase a statue of Chase so we can honor him with the dignity and respect that is rightfully his.
K9 Chase began his career in 2019 with the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia. Having been trained in narcotics detection, he assisted in searches and also worked alongside his partner, the School Resource Officer, during shifts at Strasburg High School. Chase was retired from duty when Virginia legalized marijuana. As another Police Department needed a K9, he returned to work as a narcotics detection K9 in West Virginia. At the time of his mysterious and unsolved disappearance, Chase was an active K9 Officer with the Chapmanville, West Virginia, Police Department.
It is now time for K9 Chase to receive the respect and recognition he so well deserves. There’s no denying that he’s earned the right to be honored by placing his statue at the WVPCA Law Enforcement Canine Memorial Park and K9 Training Center in Barboursville, West Virginia. This will be a tribute to his lifelong career in law enforcement as well as his reputation as a loyal and loving K9 hero. At the park, Chase’s statue will be among many other K9 heroes, whose entire lives were dedicated to law enforcement and protecting the public. Chase will be sitting high and proud near the entrance of the park adjacent to the K9 training facility. Everyone who enters the park will see Chase and be able to honor and remember him. Everyone who sees him will know that Chase has been missed, adored, respected, and held in high esteem by all of those who have loved him, searched for him, prayed for him, and know his story.
Please help us do this for Chase by making a donation to honor him with this statue. Thank you.
