Tax deductible
On September 27, 2023, Circle Fire Department Chief Chad Satcher and Firefighter Landon Bodie tragically lost their lives in the line of duty when a tree fell on their vehicle as they responded to a reported structure fire. Their sacrifice has left a lasting impact on their families, their department, and the entire Saluda County community.
In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, K9 Responder Foundation has pledged to provide a trained therapy K9 to Saluda County Fire Service. This specially trained dog will offer emotional support and comfort to first responders as they heal and rebuild from this tragedy. The K9 will be a source of resilience, companionship, and mental wellness for the firefighters who continue to serve despite their grief.
But we can't do it alone. We need your help.
We are raising funds to cover the cost of training, equipping, and placing this K9 with Saluda County Fire Service. Your donation will directly support this effort, ensuring that those who risk their lives for their community have the support they need in return.
Every dollar counts. Whether you can contribute $5 or $500, your support will make a difference. Help us honor Chief Satcher and Firefighter Bodie by bringing hope, healing, and a new kind of hero to Saluda County.
Please donate and share this campaign. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
