David and Kristin have been in a hard place for the last couple months and it's time to invite our community to share their burden.
In mid-October, David came to a point of desperation as he became flooded with memories of childhood trauma he experienced due to the choice of others. David chose to check himself into a trauma and addiction rehabilitation facility. He has shared that he has been consumed with deep emotional wounds for his entire life leaving him with unimaginable pain and emotional scars.
David is physically and emotionally safe at this inpatient facility to process through this trauma. He is brave to face this pain and desires to walk in freedom. Please join in prayer for David and his family during this very painful journey of healing and restoration. God is at work in the midst of this pain yet there is a real intensity of darkness that David and his family have experienced as he works through past trauma. David has expressed he has hope and believes that there is a life worth living.
The treatment is incredibly expensive and has quickly exhausted David and Kristin’s resources. There are very few people more generous, intentional, and loving than David and Kristin. David and Kristin have been in a very hard and lonely place for the last two months due to the private nature of David's needs. This has been a closely held journey until now. David is more comfortable sharing his story to his greater community and it is time for us to love them tangibly.
