Help Bring Jackson Back to Health

Early this spring while finishing up his senior year in high school, Jackson Byrne experienced a week of a high fever. Blood tests done at the ER discovered he had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Jackson appreciated the quality care he received during the 45 days he intermittently spent as an inpatient at the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland. This care enabled him to enter remission, and he was nearing the end of the 4th of 5 stages of treatment when he developed another fever in mid-December. The leukemia had returned. Jackson has been readmitted to Barbara Bush Children's Hospital for an initial 30-day stay. After this, he will need more advanced treatment including a bone marrow transplant at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Many of you have been asking ‘how can I help’? Jackson and his family will be in Boston for 7-8 weeks to complete his bone marrow transplant and recovery. We are turning to you now for financial support to make this healing journey work.
