Meet K9 Buster ! Most of you , have been anxiously awaiting news of Busters fate , honored & granted only yesterday , by enforcement officials .

Buster , entered MDAS as just another throw away Pibble , many months ago , at an estimated 2 years of age .

Most likely a victim of a dog fighting or a Baiting ring , all too common in a city where BSL is heavily enforced .

Day after Day , with months passing , there was absolutely Zero interest in this handsome boy , as each day passed , Buster quickly reeled into an introverted , depressed boy .

Buster , became a Shelter favorite - where he was hidden away in a very low visabilty area of MDAS . The many volunteers , workers , and social media fans , rallied to supply Buster , with Love , kindness , socialization and multiple Please for a forever home . Still ...... nothing

Then , Suddenly - a miracle that was destined to be . Buster , would be selected to be given one very Lucky break . Buster , was now to be K9 Convict Buster . He was to be honored and selected to enter an amazing program offered in partnership with MDAS & MDCR .

A Collaborative effort between Miami-Dade County Animal Services and Miami-Dade County Corrections And Rehabilitation helps inmates develop skills for employment as dog trainers upon release

It was here , an incident occurred , marking Buster with a Bite History & being sentenced back to MDAS - Death Row - Deemed Rescue only .

Hundreds of Social Media fans , pleaded 24/7 for days , for a Rescue Group to step in - all pleas unanswered .

ironically , We have a wonderful friend , that has an enormous fan base , a simple "can you help ?

Was met with slight hesitation , as We are ( English ) Bulldog Rescue & are far too familiar ( sadly ) with the difficulties and Huge Liabilities involved - due to Breed and Floridas BSL regulations .

We then took on the enormous task of putting our detective skills to work , to learn all there was to know about Buster and this incident , that would place him on Death Row . During these 48/72 hours - We began to see Buster for his goodness & agreed to be the "One Rescue , that would spare his life .

Busters fan base , grew more captivating and larger by the moment , with many offers of financial pledges , to transportation - Yet , like the "One Rescue , there would only be "One offer of a Foster home . I'd say Buster is the most fortunate Pibble on earth right now .

Buster , will require much care , Rehabilitation could take months , or longer , Yet , like all in life ( it's a chance ) Buster is Our Chance , He's your chance & worth fighting for .

He will be provided the very best in Rehabilitaion , B&B , Medical , and everything in between .

Lets provide Buster , with the same dreams & privileges , that he provided to his Cadets & fellow in-mates , during his Second Chance mission at Miami /Dade Department of Corrections .
