Please Help My Grandma Fight Cancer!

Hello kind souls out there, I like so many others am hoping to find a miracle here. My grandmother, Sherry Velasquez, was forced into early retirement at the end of 2021 from her job where she worked for 18 years. Although it came as a shock, she decided to look forward to being able to enjoy her days in retirement. But this did not last long, soon after she was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma cancer of the throat. After fighting this cancer in 2022 with radiation and chemo therapy, the side effects were troublesome, sherry lost 35 lbs, and had to have extensive dental work done as a result of damage from radiation therapy. We thought she had won the fight. No tumors for 1 year! The joy & relief disappeared at the end of 2023 when a CT scan showed a nodule in her right lung. A biopsy confirmed that the same cancer had metastasized into her lung. Unfortunately, it is stage 4 with our only hope being more intense radiation & chemo. Without treatment, the prognosis is only a 6 month survival rate. We know the cancer may spread but if we can kill what is in her lung, she will have more time to live and make memories!

She lives on Social security & with no other means of support the cost of treatment is more than she can afford!
