Jona's cancer treatment

Hi everybody! My name is Mariah Berdiago and I'm here to ask for help for my mom, Jona Roque (formely known as Jona Berdiago). She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that has metastasized to her liver and lymph nodes.
In a matter of 10 days her life got flipped upside down. My mother first started noticing severe pain in the left side of her neck in October, which later formed into a lump. She never paid attention to it because she thought it was just an ordinary pain that aging brings. But after getting convinced by her friend she decided to get it checked out and a CT scan revealed a left lobe of the liver lesion. Colonoscopy revealed a tight stricture in the sigmoid colon that looked grossly suspicious for a neoplastic process. There has been no history of this cancer in our family and my mom wasn't experiencing any symptons. Later on she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Adenocarcinoma (colon cancer) and needs to undergo systematic therapy every 2 weeks for a total of 12 sessions. She also needs to undergo chemotherapy.
Personally (as her daughter) I did not discover that she was diagnosed with cancer until weeks after the diagnosis, my mother thinking it best to keep me in the dark because of finals for school. Now I want to help her out any way I can. For those that know me, they know that my mother is one of the most important person in my life. She is my best friend, my mentor, and the embodiment of the type of person I want to be.
For those that know her, they know that she is the most optimistic, friendly, and kind-hearted person you shall ever come across. She makes friends wherever you go and no matter what your background she welcomes you with open arms. If she could, she would give me and my sister the world and more while still looking fabulous with a smile on her face.
Everything hit us hard, emotionally and financially. And we decided to go to Tijuana, Mexico for 6 weeks of alternative treatment. 3 weeks of treatment alone costs $18,500 not including the cost of hotel, food, the other 3 weeks, and possible surgery, none of this which is covered by insurance. Any type of donation would be greatly appreciated, everything must be paid before we leave the clinic.
My father is currently back home working, while me and my sister have come down with my mother to help her with her treatment. Thank you for your kindness and consideration!
