Please Help my Sister and Her Sick Baby Keep Home

  

    Just want to thank anyone taking time to read this. It was very hard to come out and ask for help. 

 The baby who is in the picture, (Jordan my Godson) has had 8 surgeries so far. My sister and her four children are about to lose their home. We wouldn't ask for help unless they truly needed it.

The baby, my Godson, was born with a rare medical condition - (Imperforate Anus.) As well as a spine defect. Neurologists are keeping a close eye on him for something called tethered cord syndrome as well.

This condition has required numerous surgeries, medical treatments, and has placed immense emotional and financial strain on her and the kids. It happens to 1 out of 1,000 babies, but with Jordans particular case it’s diagnosed 1 out of 50,000 babies. Jordan has the most complex diagnosis and requires a colorectal specialist. So, my sister travels a few hours away from her house for all his medical needs. Leaving her 3 kids at home and adding to her expenses. Jordan has had 8 major surgeries so far, his most recent was on 10/02/2023. He had an ostomy bag for 8 months of his life, then an ileostomy bag due to two failed reversals which lead to an Anastomotic leak both times which could have killed him, they spent 30 days in the hospital during his recovery. Jordan also had a catheter for 6 months because of all the surgeries that were operated near his bladder, and for a few months a suprapubic catheter that goes from his bladder and threw his stomach to test his bladder to see if Jordan would ever be able to urinate on his own again. My sister spent a total of 6 months in the hospital with Jordan and unfortunately even after his surgeries are done, they will have ongoing issues and complications for the rest of his life. Unfortunately, she is not able to work again for a while because of the ongoing issues, ER trips, and because of the special care that is required.

As if the medical challenges weren't enough, overwhelming bills and other unexpected expenses, my sister and her kids are on the brink of losing their Family Home. It's a terrifying situation for her and her four kids, as they have nowhere else to turn.
