Kadavar Corona Support

Since the Covid-19 virus or more commonly dubbed „Corona“ spread out in China in January 2020, we've been following the situation with concern. It is scary how everything changed in the past two weeks and how it will affect not only you or us, but more or less the whole world.
We had scheduled our year playing as many shows as possible from now on until the end of summer, so we could afford a tour break of at least four months. Thinking of putting together the next record, but also of private commitments as we are more or less on the road since seven years. Like most other bands today, touring is our main income. Only if we tour enough, we can arrange periods of free time for studio work, our online shop and such, but sooner or later we gotta get back to playing live again.
After successfully playing shows in Japan, Russia and Israel earlier this year, we were going to continue our world tour. Tours in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, then North America were scheduled next, just arriving back in time for the European festivals. Within the last week, all our headlining shows were cancelled and it looks like most of the festivals are in danger as well.
We would like to ask for your help. The Corona virus is a big danger not only to our and everyone's health, but also puts us, like every other creative, self employed person and our whole economy under a lot of stress. We have had good and bad times financially, but this time we are facing a great loss of income. If you want to support us in this uncertain times, feel free to contribute as much as you want, every little bit helps!
For everyone who wanted to attend one of our shows, for everyone who can help us, and also for everyone who can’t, we will stream a live show straight out of our studio on Saturday, March 21, 8:30 pm CET. We will think of more ways to show our gratitude for your amazing support. We are privileged to be able to do the things we love and specially, to have you as our audience. Thank you very much, and hopefully see all of you soon again somewhere.
We encourage everyone to stay positive, not panic and stay home as much as possible, following the rules of hygiene and social distancing and being aware that we can make a change if we take it seriously.
