Kaeleb Sweeney Family Fund
Donation protected
The community of Beavercreek, a loving family and a multitude of friends lost a precious young man on July 18th when Kaeleb Sweeney passed away and was welcomed into his eternal heavenly home.
Kaeleb was 18 and the epitome of someone who was "full of life." He was a beloved son, grandson, brother and friend. Kaeleb was a 2019 graduate of Beavercreek High School and will be dearly missed by his parents Chris and Melissa, older brother Evan who is serving in the United States Air Force and younger siblings Brodie and Ryliegh.
Kaeleb was a tremendous soul who brought joy to those around him and made sure everyone felt included. He was a young man who spent extra time with special needs students at Beavercreek through the All-Star Teams & Spirit Squad and many other activities. Kaeleb did not know a stranger, and, in his presence, everyone felt valued and special and loved.
In this time of unimaginable loss, we have set up this account to help the Sweeney family. We want to do anything we can for Melissa and Chris to alleviate financial burdens they may face with medical bills, funeral costs, etc so they may focus on their family and each other in the days ahead.
On Saturday, as Kalaeb entered his eternal rest, he left his time on this earth a hero. As an organ donor Kaeleb's heart was given to a person in Ohio which saved their life, his kidneys were donated to Walter Reed Hospital where deserving US soldiers will receive his gift and many others will receive the benefit of his organ donation in other places..
Being an organ donor was a decision Kaeleb made on his own - it was another reflection of the selfless and caring young man he was.
All of our lives were better because Kaeleb was in it - and now, even, complete strangers will have healthier and better lives because of that decision.
Kaeleb was a bright light of joy and enthusiasm, love and compassion that has left us far sooner than any of us could imagine – but all of our lives are better because he was in it and he will never be forgotten.
Please take a moment to donate to this family. And, most of all, remember them in your thoughts and prayers in the days to come as they have lost their precious son, grandson and brother.
