As most of you know, Kaelum was born with a condition called Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, a condition that causes contracted joints in multiple limbs. Kaelum is only affected in his lower limbs which causes him to not be able to walk. He had surgery in March of last year where they had put tether plates in that were suppose to help with leg straightening but it’s been about a year and not much progress has shown. Well about a month ago, I got in contact with an Arthrogryposis specialist in West Palm Beach, Florida that has guaranteed us that he can have Kaelum walking in just 6 weeks after surgery!!! With that being said, we will be spending about a month and a half down in Florida so Dr. Feldman can work his magic and physical therapy can work with Kae every day to make sure he gets to stand on his two feet!! I have started this go fund me to hopefully help with the costs of medical expenses and travel. So many of you have been with us since day one through this process with my baby boy, and you all know how tough it’s been for not only him but for this momma & our whole family that just wants the absolute best for our tough little man.
