Help Pam with medical expenses
On July 14th, our mother went in for a much needed surgery to remove a pelvic mass. There were complications during the surgery, her bladder had been nicked, but she was in good spirits and ready to take on recovery. Over the weekend her condition started to deteriorate. On Monday, July 19th, she was rushed to the ER where they discovered she had developed an abscess that required immediate attention. Her condition still continued to deteriorate and another doctor was called in for a consult. They discovered at that time that she had a colon perforation and she was rushed back into the OR. Tonight, July 21st, she had a life changing, yet life saving surgery. She underwent a sigmoidectomy and unfortunately had to have a colostomy. The surgery will take a toll on her both physically and mentally. Her whole life changed within the course of a few hours. Her recovery will be a long one and she will require another surgery once her body has had time to heal to hopefully reverse to colostomy.
If you know our mother, you know that she is one of the kindest, most giving people you’ll ever meet. She doesn’t ask for help and has always done everything herself. We don’t know how long she will be out of work, nor do we know how long she will receive a paycheck. If you can donate to help her, every penny will go directly towards her medical bills and anything she needs as she starts this new chapter in life. If you can’t donate, then please lift her up in prayer, as that’s the best thing you could do for anyone. Thank you so much!
