Shayden Kahiau Dalire-Na’auao, Kahi for short is the grandson of the late Hula Master Aloha Dalire and son of Kumu Hula Kaui Dalire and Na Hoku Hanohano award singer/producer Sean Na’auao. Kahi is an 18 year old graduate of the Kamehameha Schools. He aspires to be an entrepreneur/graphic engineer. One, of 5 boys, Kahi is in a fight for his life. He is strong, and in good spirits. However, the battle is uncertain.
Kahi was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. A type of cancer usually found in teens and young adults between the ages of 14-21. To learn more about this cancer click on the link:

Over this past year, he has put up a good fight undergoing both chemotherapy and radiation. However, within these last weeks, the treatment options here in Hawaii are limited.
We want Kahi to be able to get the best, most promising treatment available.
That hope takes us to a place where both myself and his father travels to, to share our aloha and our beautiful culture and music. JAPAN, where their cutting edge and advanced technologies have developed a treatment program that has many success stories in improving outcomes and increasing life spans.
None of this is covered by insurance and its in a foreign country where travel will be difficult for him and applications for medical visas must be filed.
We are asking our family, friends, students, music lovers, everyone to support this young warrior in the fight for his life.
