Kai & Owen Seeking Legal Aide in Family Court

Hi my name is Jake Wallin, I am making this GoFundMe in an attempt to help Oliver Kai Shoemaker and Owen Oshi with their legal fees in family court.

While I will keep details brief until they decide to tell their story. Kai is fighting for the right to access their children on their terms. I am asking on their behalf for legal fees for proper representation as I personally believe the risk of discrimination is high within their situation.

Kai and Owen have been active voices in the local LGBTQ+ community for several years and spend most of their time helping people around them while providing and being wonderful parents to their two children. $2500 would help them retain an attorney and hopefully increase their chances in family court.
