Kai Robinson get out of debt

Hi, my name is Kai and i'm trying to raise £3000 to get myself out of debt. Due to two redundancies from big tech firms in the last year, i've spent several months out of work. On top of that, in my current workplace, i've had to take some time off sick, which is unpaid.

I've reduced my outgoings to the basics, i'm trying to pay off an overdraft, credit card and service a loan taken out in 2021.

While I earn what should be a decent wage, the cost of living, coupled with me being constantly in my overdraft means that i'm racking up overdraft fees and i'm juggling what little i have between fuel to get to work, rent, food and of course, energy bills.

My wife and I don't go out, we don't have any luxuries, our cars are 13 and 23 years old respectively, with mine being held together with duct tape and good will. Neither of us have been away on a holiday or a break since we got married. The flat we live in is the cheapest in the area. Our savings are totally depleted.

Basically, this is rock bottom for me, and by proxy, my wife, who relies on me.

I'd love to get back into a position where i'm not servicing a massive overdraft and actually get to use my monthly salary. I find it hard to sleep at night constantly worrying about if i'll be able to afford the rent.

I realise this will be a familiar story to a lot of people in the UK, and globally, and I can only hope for the best - if you can help in any way, every penny will be appreciated, and put towards getting myself out of a large wedge of debt.
