Last night, Kaiden was in a serious motorcycle accident. We don't have too many details on the accident right now, but we believe Kaiden swerved to miss a truck crossing the road. This truck left the scene but, luckily there was someone following Kaiden and they were able to call for help. Emergency crews were able to come and he was then Mercy flighted to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was stabilized and is now recovering in the ICU. He has a fractured temporal bone, broken ribs, punctured lung and a concussion.
Due to COVID only two people are allowed to see him during the duration of his stay and only one person a day for 4 hours.
Kaiden is a hard working man who just finished his Associates degree while also working full time. He is a very genuine and caring guy who would do most anything for most anyone. He will be out of work for a while and will have a lot of bills coming his way when he is able to leave the hospital.
If you are able, any little bit helps and thoughts and prays are also asked for.
Thank you for any contribution.
Update: no broken hand, elbow or ankle. After restructured view of his head, they did not see a skull fracture and have no concerns at this time. He is still recovering in the ICU today.
We are all very thankful for the community that has stood around and supported Kaiden during this hard time and we can not thank everyone enough for their generosity and prayers.
