Kaiden Sinden ❤️‍

No parent ever wants to hear those words that their child has Cancer. Nothing can ever prepare them for that awful news!

Unfortunately, Katie and Andrew were left devastated on Friday 26th July, when they learnt their eldest son, Kaiden, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

Kaiden was admitted into hospital with what they first understood to be a chronic case of bacterial tonsillitis, to find within 24 hours that Kaiden was seriously poorly and needed to receive treatment immediately!

Kaiden is now undergoing intensive chemotherapy due to nature of the Leukaemia that he has. This means, that each month will require him to be admitted to the Hospital, which is far away from his home, to complete each cycle. The journey will be long, and it is likely some months Kaiden will not be allowed to return home at all.

Therefore, we have set this ‘Go fund me’ up, in the hope that any money raised will help relieve some financial stress to Katie and Andrew, who are trying to juggle hospital stays with Kaiden, looking after their two youngest and still trying to fit in some hours of work to continue to keep them afloat.

The money will help towards the continuation of daily bills, travel expenses, food and toiletries whilst staying in the hospital and anything unexpected.

We also hope, that any money left will provide them with enough to spend on a family getaway once Kaiden has completed his treatment and is better to do so.
