My Study Abroad Trip in Barcelona

Hello my friends!
My name is Kaila Clark and I attend College of San Mateo in California. I've lived in the bay area my whole life and while I've studied Spanish for twelve years I've never been to a Spanish speaking country. This fall I'm going to Barcelona, Spain, my first time leaving the country, where I will be able to further improve my language skills and immerse myself in their culture.

I'll also be continuing my education there with the AIFS study abroad program through CSM. We leave September 12 and return in early December. 
This summer I'll be working as much as I can to save up by waitressing, farming and catering, along with anything else that comes my way, but i'll still need some help. The total cost is $9,000 and this includes airfare, medical insurance, housing, and classes. 
I want to go on this trip for the education, the experience, and the adventure of seeing the world, and I appreciate any contribution that you could give, no matter how small! Travel tips and advice is greatly appreciated; also you will receive a postcard from yours truly in Barcelona!!
