Kai’s emergency bill

A few weeks ago, our sweet baby boy had a scary seizure after experiencing a traumatic injury to the head. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, given anti-seizure medication, and several scans and X-rays were taken. He also got blood work. After some hours of careful monitoring and an EG, a neurology report and blood results within normal levels, he was discharged from the hospital.

We’ve been monitoring him closely and praying a lot since then, and luckily he seems okay and for that we are beyond grateful.

It has been a stressful time and there are still a lot of unknowns, as this is his second seizure this year. His first is perhaps linked to a fever he had, but doctors aren’t certain.

We are so thankful that he is back to his usual self, but unfortunately even with insurance, the second emergency visit was outrageously costly. If you would like to help in any way we are humbled and appreciate your support from the bottom of our hearts
