Kaitlin Tracy with medical expenses & recovery

Hello, my name is Kim Francis and I am fundraising for Kaitlin Tracy. I met Kaitlin over 13 years ago when she joined my Girl Scout Troop. Kaitlin quickly became my daughter's best friend and to this day they remain best friends and very involved in each other's lives. Kaitlin was a victim of a very serious assault on 3/6/23 and narrowly escaped with her life. Kaitlin was flown by helicopter to Strong Memorial Hospital where she is being treated for many injuries including a punctured lung, nerve damage in her leg and a cut to her throat over 5" long. Kaitlin is lucky to still be with us and will need medical interventions for some time causing her to miss work as well as incur unexpected expenses.

Kaitlin was a Girl Scout from kindergarten thru 12th grade and completed several community service projects with her fellow scouts. Kaitlin volunteers her time to the Fairville Fire Department fish fry and is an active member of the Towpath Volunteers Fife and Drum Corps playing drums and marching in parades. Kaitlin graduated Newark High School in June 2022 and was just starting out in life when this attack derailed her life. Please consider helping Kaitlin in her recovery.
