In loving memory of Kaitlyn Lynch

On the morning hours of Saturday, August 19, 2023, two detectives showed up at Kaitlyn’s mother’s house to deliver news that no parent ever wants to receive: Kaitlyn was shot and killed outside of her home in Ohio. The suspect, someone she knew, then made his way into her car, with Kaitlyn left dying in the passenger seat as he began driving. After a long police pursuit, the suspect was apprehended by authorities in Tennessee and Kaitlyn was discovered deceased with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Kaitlyn’s family is overwhelmed with emotions. They say “we are in complete disbelief that this has happened to our Kaitlyn.

Anyone who knew Kaitlyn knew how much she loved being a mom to her two beautiful daughters and how she was always willing to lend a hand. She was funny, beautiful, determined and she will be deeply missed by all.”

Kaitlyn needs to be brought home to be with her family, so that she can have the memorial that she deserves. We are asking for donations to help cover the immense financial burden that comes along with something as complicated and sudden as this. Donations will be used to help bring her home, funeral costs, etc. Any other money remaining will go to her daughters aged 8 & 7.
