My name is Christina Dougherty and I am fundraising for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in my sister Katie's name and honor. Lennie Joseph, Katie's guitar teacher while growing up, has been working hard to have a musical event to raise money for a cause very close to our hearts.

My sister Katie lost her battle with depression on June 10, 2020. Katie was an advocate for mental health and mental illness awareness. Her motto was "Be Somebody who Makes Everyone Feel like a Somebody." She worked with people in need up until her final days. Katie was so special. She was someone who was always there for you. Now that she has left us, we want to help people in her memory. We want her to live on through us. Please help us do this by attending our event on July 18, 2021 at the American Legion in Rochelle Park NJ. We also ask that you make any additional donation here that you can.
