Support Kaitlyn's recovery!

Hi! My name is Erin and I'm fundraising for my friend Kaitlyn, who broke her ankle in three places on Leap Day 2024. She was rushed to the ER then quickly into surgery, which was thankfully successful, but she has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

She will be out of commission for a full 12 weeks, unable to work or drive during that time, and she has no short term disability coverage etc to help cover finances for those three months being out of work (not to mention the additional medical bills that this is incurring). As of today (3/1), she is still in the hospital while they compound her pain medication for her, hopefully going home tomorrow.

Kaitlyn is one of the most hardworking people I know, holding down a full time nursing job, taking amazing care of her four boys (ages 1-16), all while also managing her many dangerous food/medication allergies that require special ordering/handling/etc. She is also one of my best friends, and she has always been there for me every time I have needed her.

She is in a lot of pain right now and feeling very overwhelmed by the idea of being unable to work and struggling to care for her kids while also healing. If you're able, anything you can give would help lift a little bit of that load off her shoulders while she focuses on recovering and taking care of her family.
