Kaiya Serra Emergency Medical Costs

I’m Lacey and I’m raising funds for my boyfriend Don’s daughter. Kaiya, 12 years old, had emergency surgery while on vacation in New York City due to an intracranial subdural empyema. Basically her brain was swollen with puss surrounding it. After 2 emergency surgeries they found out it was due to Strep. She now has a giant piece of skull removed from her head and must wear a helmet until they get a prosthetic once Kaiya gets back home to Salt Lake City. From there she’ll have another surgery in 3 months to put her back together. Her momma Nicky has been with her there at the hospital in NY and dad flew out earlier this week. As you can imagine these medical costs are going to be enormous. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!
