Raising money to help both LA furries attend pride 2020 and San Diego furries to attend pride 2020!

My name is Dave Hester. Last year I was able to run the SoCal Pride Furs meet at San Diego Pride Parade 2019. It was something I’ve wanted to do for a while, not just for me or for my friends. It’s something I hold dear to me, I know there’s a lot of people scared to tell someone, parents, families, friends. That they might be in the LGBTQ+ community, or even a furry. Last year after the parade, my Twitter was blowing up with kids telling me they saw the furries walk the parade. How they were so happy to see us there because they couldn’t because they are still hiding themselves from the world. I wanted to run the meet to show everyone who is scared that it’s going to be okay. As cheesy as that sounds, it will be. Look at the furries that were there, we are a  community that gets hate on the daily, and the majority of furries are apart of the LGBTQ+ community as well. 

my personal goal is to keep running the pride meet every year, and anywhere I can get to. I want people to know that they are valid, that there are people just like them who has gone through the same thing.
