Kako Family Legal Fund

I am New York attorney Gregory J. Tarone, Esq., helping the Sarann family in Cambodia, pro bono, because they do not have sufficient money to be able to retain and pay all the necessary legal fees, but we have the Cambodian law firm Asia Cambodia Legal Group (http://www.aclf.com.kh/) represtning Rorn

Sarann now. We are seeking any help from those that care to contribute whatever you can as we are near our goal of $3500. Any support is very much appreciated.

We are using GoFundMe so that a legal license from the Kingdom of Cambodia will allow the Saranns to raise all their monkeys in their homes -- as well as to retrieve their three monkeys, Lisa, JiJi, and Jing, who were taken away from the family by the Wildlife Alliance, a New York-based not-for-profit corporation, acting as quasi policemen. 

Why help? In the words of a 52-year-old woman in Eastern Europe who wrote to me and donated anonymously:

"It ...[is] a difficult time ...in] my country! I believe that reason [we] will win...[is] because...for my friends in Ukraine [who] ...are all animal defenders who do not leave the country, ... they help and save animals. After all, people know where to hide, where to go, [and] what to do, but animals don't...and many are abandoned.

Why was I touched by the soul of [the] Kako family? Because there are no monkeys in my country and there are only big ones in the zoo.... [but] no macaques. In the Kako family, I saw that animals are loved, they are cared for with all their heart and soul. Such monkeys, raised in a family 100% can not go into the wild forest, they will die. My cousin is a zoologist and devoted her life to animals and she also said that it would be a quick death. They can't do it in the wild.

Why else am I helping the Kako family? I work and help disabled and elderly people, and they all fell in love with this family Somehow, you know? It gives them joy and a desire to get out of bed in the morning, watch the video, and smile! This is happiness!

... People wrote to me about how they fell in love with the Kako family, and how many children Lisa and JiJi, Jing, cancer patients, are waiting for...You can't leave everything like this, you need to do everything and more!"

So, please consider donating to further justice that the Saranns can provide to the Kingdom of Cambodia and the rest of this world.

Please Note: All funds raised will go into my law practice trust account at Chase Bank, protected under New York bar rules, and it will be held for them and distributed to their lawyers in Cambodia as instructed by the Saranns. I will be subject to an accounting of this money, acting as their fiduciary, because they have no means or experience to deal with it. Contrary to Facebook propaganda, they have not been making lots of money from YouTube and Facebook, but subsisting to pay for food and veterinary bills.
