Kaleigh's Internship-Cannes, France

Hello family and friends, it's Kaleigh. As some of you may know, I have been studying Film Business at Columbia College Chicago since fall of 2014. The Film Business program has been wonderful and has afforded me immense knowledge and skill.

Recently, I applied for an internship through the American Pavillion at Cannes Film Festival.  Cannes Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Cannes, France, which previews new films from all around the world. The invitation-only festival is held annually in May.  I was accepted to the internship and will be given the opportunity to network and learn from an international distribution company and be able to be on the front lines of a truly spectacular event. Unfortunately, there is a program fee that is due soon, because France is expensive and I will need a place to stay, transportation, sustanance, etc.

I love the film industry and the entertainment business, this experience will lay stepping stones for my career and encompasses everything I love about film. This is an experience of a life time and I will be forever grateful for any amount donated. 

All that hat being said, I completely understand financial capability and if it's not in the books right now, that is a-ok and you can just take this as a life update from me!
