Kali Kay's Brave Battle

Hi, my name is Alexandra Abrams, and I’m reaching out on behalf of the Marshall family, people who are incredibly dear to my heart.
On March 28th, 2025, our beloved Kali, my son’s best friend since birth, was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL), a serious cancer of the blood and bone marrow. The diagnosis came just days after we returned from a Spring Break camping trip with friends. Kali had been showing concerning symptoms that were increasing in regularity; daily fevers, hip pain (which we now know was from the top of her femur), joint pain, increased fatigue, weight loss, and persistent headaches.
Shortly after, Kali was referred to Pensacola and admitted to Studer Family Children’s Hospital, where she spent 11 days undergoing diagnostic procedures and beginning immediate treatment. She now travels weekly back to Pensacola for chemotherapy and is scheduled to undergo another bone marrow biopsy on Monday, 4/28/25.
Our sweet Kali is facing a long road ahead, at a minimum of two years of treatment. During this time her father Tony has stepped away from his job to become her full-time caregiver while Angie continues to work. The Marshall’s are now a single income household navigating not only emotional and physical challenges, but financial ones as well.
This wonderful family could use all the love and support we can give them in their time of need and we are asking for your help in easing some of the financial hardships they will encounter. Please, continue to pray for Kali and her family as they maneuver through this difficult time in their lives!
