Kali, our dearest friend Mike Glazier daughter.

Hi my name Tiago and I am initiating this fundraising for Kali’s father, our dearest friend and co-worker Mike Glazier.

Hello everyone,

As many may know, Mike Glazier is a well-respected Paramedic Operations Supervisor for Aetna Ambulance Service, centrally located in Hartford, Connecticut. Mike's highly energetic smile makes him approachable to everyone, and he is always available to support his colleagues who hold him in the highest regard. He is a kind-hearted gentleman who goes out of his way to assist everyone whom he encounters.

Mike's daughter Kali has been battling leukemia for a year now at the age of 23, and sadly, this horrible disease has taken its toll. She has spent her birthday, holidays, and even her wedding to her husband Christian in Hartford Hospital.

On December 27th, Kali was transferred to palliative care. Mike has taken time off from work to be with Kali and his family during this difficult time. In the coming months, we would like to offer financial support to Mike and his family. We urge everyone to come together and help Mike financially during this time of need. No parent should have to endure the stress of having a child fight cancer, let alone the burden of bills that still need to be paid. Despite everything, Mike always has a smile on his face.

once Mike told me: “ the day I don’t smile and keep it together Kali will know that something is really wrong…” Mike is an outstanding and unbelievable strong father who had to wear his best face on a daily basis not only to his daughter but also to his family and friends, can’t even imagine how he was able to do it day in and day out.

Unfortunately, on December 28th at 9:41 am, Kali lost her battle with cancer.

We are here to support our dearest friend in such a difficult time.
