It is with extreme sadness that I announce the passing of my 17 year old son Kalvin Abraham Carrasco. We are devastated by this great loss and still find ourselves stunned by this new reality. Kalvin is survived by his mom, siblings Bethel, Kevin, Kenya( his twin), Julian, Mariella and I. Plus the rest of the Carrasco and Thomspon family which includes grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As a father I would never have imagined that I would lay my child to rest.

How do we prepare for such a tragedy? How do I explain to his siblings his absence? I am asking God to carry me and my family through this.

With this heavy heart I come to you. We are raising money to cover the costs of Kalvin’s funeral and memorial services as he is currently in Texas. Your kindness, love and generosity is greatly appreciated.
