Kalvin Reed, Son, Brother, and Friend

On Saturday, August 12th, 2023, our community lost an amazing young man in a tragic car accident. Kalvin was a son, brother, friend, and loved one to so many throughout his life. He just celebrated his 19th birthday in July with his family and had a lifetime more to go. If you met Kalvin, you knew the light and spirit that poured from him. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, being outdoors, and creating his own mark on the world. He was just getting started, and we all knew that.

There are no words to describe the pain his family feels right now. This loss has devastated everyone, and there are no words to heal the pain of losing a child. There is no way to ask for help or have someone take away the grief of what Kalvin's parents, sister, or family has to go through. We have started this gofundme for the Reed family to help ease the burden of the cost of memorial services. Anything is something, and the Reed family would like to show their sincerest appreciation to everyone who donates, shares, or comments on this page. Memories and love of Kalvin are always encouraged.
