Kamilah Brooks wrestling of Fargo USMC Jr National

Hello, my name is Kamilah Brooksl. I am a senior this year at Pasquotank County High School.  I have been wrestling consecutively since 7th grade.  I have devoted many morning, days, and years to becoming a better wrestler and to where I am today. I recently placed 7th at NHSCA High School Nationals in Virginia Beach and won NC Women’s first official state championship in February.  I achieved All-American status 4 times now, twice at NHSCA HS Nationals and twice at War of the Roses a women’s national event.  I will be wrestling competitively in college after I graduate in June, 2024.  I have not decided where I am going yet, but on my journey I will be studying Psychology.  
To go farther than my potential, I have to be able to train and compete with the best girls in the nation. This means lots of traveling across the nation.  I have worked extremely hard to stay in shape and on top to maintaining my grades and making A honor roll this year while also having to miss school to compete. I am trying to raise money to wrestle in the USMC Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota from July 14-19, 2024. This tournament is widely considered as the most competitive women's wrestling tournament in the country. The estimated cost of this trip is about $2500 for flight, lodging, entry fees, and food. I am grateful to anyone that can help make my dream come true!
