Kangaroo Rescue, Rescue
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Jason. I am establishing this fund raiser for two of the most beautiful people you could ever meet and their unusual family. The people I'm talking about are Josephine and Terry Brennan-Kuss. I have known Jo and Terry for many years. That's me with my son, Xavier, in the cover photo and that's my gorgeous kids with some of the rescued joeys.Jo and Terry have dedicated their lives to rescuing and nursing our native wildlife, mostly Kangaroos. For as long as I can remember these guys have worked tirelessly to take in our beautiful wildlife and nurse them back to health. As a tour guide my colleagues and myself would drop injured and abandoned wildlife off to these guys and they would stay up all night and work all day to make sure these little guys got back to health and got a second chance at life. Jo and Terry have selflessly dedicated themselves to this task and operated COMPLETELY on donations and THEIR OWN INCOME.
SOMETHING RECENTLY HAPPENED - COVID-19.
The stream of tourists who would donate to the cause has ceased. Jo and Terry have had to close their own business due to COVID-19 and to protect themselves as they are getting old and would not have much luck fighting off infection should it come.
These guys are struggling to keep food up to these little critters on the savings they have. They are too proud to ask for help and would persist as they are if I let them. It's time to give back and help these guys!
Whilst COVID-19 has stopped the country in it's tracks it DOESN'T stop orphaned wildlife coming in. The kangaroos keep coming! Jo and Terry need to feed and medicate these little guys.
Along with that we have another problem that has arisen..... Because of the COVID-19 "lock-down" they have lost the ability to relocate rescued wildlife. Where as previously these guys would distribute the babies to other sanctuaries in South Australia they are now unable to do this because of travel restrictions. I am prepared to donate some land for them to house the rescued wildlife but we need money to build a holding area. Please donate in order to help Jo and Terry keep the food and medication up to the wildlife and to assist in building an area where we can house the babies until this crisis is over and we can relocate them. Thank you so much for your time and thanks in advance for your donation. It means the world to not only me but to a lot of beautiful little animals.
If you feel like following the progress of these gorgeous little animals and the great work Jo and Terry do then be sure to head to https://www.facebook.com/JOSEPHINES-GALLERY-KANGAROO-ORPHANAGE-129284050419402/
