Kangaroo Valley Expedition, Fundraiser Ride!

The Kangaroo Valley Expedition adventure is organised and supported by Kangaroo Valley Horses & approved by the Kangaroo Valley Show Committee.

Riders embark on a 3-day trek, traversing creeks, meandering through open farmland, and conquering Mount Scanzi, all leading into the breathtaking Kangaroo Valley, NSW.

This unforgettable journey commences in Budgong. The horses stay at the KV Showgrounds, with their riders at Glenmack Park, riding back to base over the mountain and through the raging creek crossings.

Participants are endeavouring to keep the equestrian events at the Kangaroo Valley Show alive and well.

After enduring several years marked by bushfires, the pandemic, floods, landslips, and road closures, our goal is to revitalise the equestrian events at the 138th KV Show running on February 14th & 15th 2025!

We're dedicated to reigniting the spirit of competition, attracting equestrian competitors back to the Showgrounds, offering a spectrum of events ranging from children's and adult's Sporting, Hacking, Show Jumping, Stock Horse, Miniatures, Harness, and Heavy Horses classes.

All proceeds raised through this initiative will go directly to the Kangaroo Valley Show Society to fortify the equestrian events.
