Hello Everyone, I'm truly heartbroken writing this but after a lengthy battle of ailments including a heart attack and covid my brother ,Casimir Kania Jr (Casey) passed away on February 17 in his sleep. My brother was a true warrior. He served in the Navy for 4 years during the Vietnam War. He was married to his late Wife Rosann, she passed in 2002 at Age 48. He had lung cancer in 1991 and lost part of his lung. Then in 2016 he had a heart attack and was minutes away from death. He was able to get back on his feet in late 2016 and was able to see the Cubs win the World Series. In 2020 he had Covid-19 and was able to keep fighting without being able to see his family except for visiting thru a window while in a nursing home. The last few months were extremely tough for my brother due to Parkinson's disease , where it makes it very difficult to swallow and he also had terrible tremors. We were able to help him with his last wishes of letting him be at home with his family and his children took care of him for 24hrs a day. Sometimes they had to miss work or quit their job.

I am trying to help his family raise money to pay for his funeral and burial expense.
