At the end of 2022, we completed a music documentary called Kansas City Dreamin'. The film is about the African-American music history of the city, and its impact around the world. The documentary features segments on Charlie Parker, Count Basie, Mary Lou Williams, Big Joe Turner, Marva Whitney, Bloodstone, Lo-Key, Tech N9ne, Janelle Monae, Bobby Watson, Oleta Adams, Lonnie McFadden, Lisa Henry, and Oscar winner Kevin Willmont.

The film was screened in Los Angeles at the Pan African Film Festival.

We are currently seeking funds to pay legal and licensing fees so the film can be distributed worldwide.

With your help, the film will be available to stream in 2024.
