Hello, my name is Joy Johnson the mother of Kanye Williams. On the morning of April 7th, 2023 my only son was taken from this world. You go to sleep planning your child graduation and wake up planning a funeral. Life just not real now in my world. This was my only son out of five girls. He made me smile and laugh every day, If you knew him you know the smile, and the laughter he could evoke out of anyone, even if you were in a bad mood. Kanye never been in jail, never involved in gang activity, never toted no guns, He stood on his own ten toes as a man. My son loved anything on wheels, especially two wheels. His only focus during the last few weeks of his life was fixing up his car and trying to finish his senior class requirements for graduation. My baby was only 19 and never gave me or any of his family drama, so preparing ahead of time for something like this never crossed my mind. I never saw this for him.
