Our KareBear begins chemotherapy today at MD Anderson in Houston, Tx. As most know, Kara Dudley was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, that currently sits within her upper nasal cavity. Kara will undergo a series of chemotherapy, treatments, and surgery over the coming year. She’s in wonderful hands at MDA where she’s being treated by one of the top doctors in the country for this type of cancer.
Kara is an elementary teacher in Killeen ISD, devout in her faith, and the absolute best mother to two little girls, Ellie and Maddie, who cheer her on from home. Kara’s treatment will require her to take extended leave from her classroom and we’ve created this GoFundMe account to help ease the stresses of the financial impact so Kara can focus on her recovery, and nothing more.
