Kara Perri of Gold Rush Any Time Needs Our Help

Hello, my name is Mike McNeill and I, like close to 95,000 other people belong to a Facebook group “Gold Rush Any Time”. This group was started and is administrated by a woman named Kara Perri. I have known Kara for several years now through the group and have found her to be one of the most selfless people I have ever known. She has earned the respect of most, if not all the miners from the TV Show Gold Rush. For at least the last couple of years she has been able to travel North to the Yukon to not only meet but work side by side with a number of the miners that we as fans see on TV each week on the show. She can do this because she has gained and earned the trust of these very same people. Many of the miners drop in and leave comments for the fans of Gold Rush Any Time. They do so because of Kara.

From what I know about Kara she asks for nothing for herself. Everything she does is to better her groups for the fans.

Kara just recently returned from the Yukon where she was working in one of the gold camps and must now try to find somewhere to live until she can make long term plans on what to do in the future. I am sure her goal is to return to the Yukon to continue to chase her dream.

What a lot of her fans may not know is Kara has a number of health problems and has recently lost the love of her life, her husband Roger, to Alzheimer’s. She shares very little of the these struggles though. Several of us have gotten together and want to help this woman whose only goal has been to give the fans of Gold Rush a place to share stories and information.

Her major issues right now are finding a place to live and obtaining some sort of reliable transportation so she can get back and forth to her doctor’s appointments. If you are able, please help this woman who gives so much to her fans without asking for anything for herself.
