Kara’s medical and moving expenses

Hello friends and family! Life threw me quite the curve ball. As many of you know, I had a liver transplant 2 years ago. 1 year ago I contracted histoplasmosis. Because of this, we had to reduce my dosage of my immunosuppressant medication. This in turn caused my transplant to reject. Fast action then barely saved my life.

2 weeks ago i came into the U of M emergency department. We discovered that I have necrotizing pancreatitis which requires removal of dead tissue. I then went into full renal and respiratory failure. I was sedated and put on a ventilator, and I also now have dialysis 3 times a week.

Mon top of that we found a 7 cm mass on an ovary that needs to be removed. To say that this has put me in financial distress is an understatement. I cannot access my apartment as I am now wheelchair bound. I will have to hire packers and movers, security deposit, living expenses, etc.

This is urgent as in the interim I will be placed in a transitional care facility.
